Louisville Urban League

THE LOUISVILLE URBAN LEAGUE is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, community service organization dedicated to eliminating racism and its adverse impacts on our community. Our mission is to assist African Americans and other marginalized populations in attaining social and economic equality through direct services and advocacy.

Center for Neighborhoods

For more than 40 years the Center For Neighborhoods has cultivated grassroots leadership, provided leadership education, partnered with neighborhoods in community planning efforts, facilitated civic dialogue among stakeholders and actively participated in neighborhood-based development & improvement projects.

Center For Neighborhoods is an independent, 501c3 organization dedicated to partnering with neighborhood residents to create change in their communities. 

Change Today, Change Tomorrow

Appealing to the needs of the Black community in multiple facets with specific focus on education and community service. CTCT provides access to resources, education, and community engagement to all African Americans in the Greater Louisville area.

Coalition for the Homeless

The Coalition for the Homeless’s mission is to prevent and end homelessness in Louisville. We are the the lead advocate for the homeless locally.Our members consist of over 30 shelters, agencies, and advocacy groups in the Louisville area.

We are a grassroots non-profit ​​located in Louisville, KY accompanying families in the Latinx community.  ​Our mission is to empower these families, providing a foundation for systemic change with long-term effects.

Louisville Grows

Louisville Grows, founded in 2009, is an environmental 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to Grow Greener, Healthier Neighborhoods. Our vision is to foster green, just and sustainable neighborhoods in Louisville. 
Louisville Grows’ neighborhood-based urban forestry program focuses on restoring the urban tree canopy with a goal of planting 1000 trees each year. The main focus of our urban agriculture program is to build capacity in community gardens by providing technical assistance, education and infrastructure by offering community garden grants.
Louisville Grows seeks to be a leading nonprofit in advocating for health equity through the environmental platforms of urban forestry and urban agriculture.

Kentucky Refugee Ministries

Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. (KRM), a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing resettlement services to refugees through faith- and agency-based co-sponsorship in order to promote self-sufficiency and successful integration into our community. KRM is committed to offering access to community resources and opportunities and to promoting awareness of diversity for the benefit of the whole community.

UP For Women and Children

Our Mission is to provide a healthy, safe environment for homeless women and children that offers opportunities and encouragement for achieving self-sufficiency. By providing shelter and resource options through a partnership of providers, UP for Women and Children is where homeless women are empowered to find hope, help, and refuge.
